Best Practices in Research Reporting


ILMA University as a publisher of IJTSM and all its currently published journals or serials follows the COPE guidelines and codes of conducts on the best publishing practices and editorial workflows as it is described by the COPE (2011). COPE policies on code of conducts and best publishing practices on the matter are mentioned via following web link for the further clarity. We reserve the right to enforce standards that may be more strict than local legal or ethical frameworks. Issues discovered after publication will be addressed according to guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and may lead to a correction, retraction, or expression of concern. We may also contact authors’ institutions as appropriate.

Corrections


ILMA University as a publisher of IJTSM and all its currently published journals or serials, publishes corrections and expressions of concern as appropriate, and as quickly as possible while following the COPE guidelines where applicable. https://publicationethics.org/

A notice of correction will be issued by the journal and correction on substantial errors will be done that appear in online articles when the errors significantly affect the content or understanding of the work reported (e.g., error in data presentation or analysis) or when the error affects the publication's metadata (e.g., misspelling of an author's name). In these cases, IJTSM will publish a correction that will be linked to the original article. IJTSM now participate in the CrossMark service, which is a multi-publisher initiative to provide a standard way for readers to locate the most up-to-date version of an article. By applying the CrossMark logo IJTSM is committing to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur.

Handling suspected redundant / Duplicate articles

ILMA University as a publisher for IJTSM and all its currently published journals or serials follows the COPE guidelines on text recycling as they are described by BMC (2004) and adopted by COPE (2004). ILMA University as a publisher of IJTSM follows the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license for all articles, IJTSM publishes. If you submit your paper for publicatio, you agree to have the CC BY license applied to your work. Under this Open Access license, you as the author agree that anyone can reuse your article in whole or part for any purpose, for free, even for commercial purposes. Anyone may copy, distribute, or reuse the content as long as the author and original source are properly cited. This facilitates freedom in re-use and also ensures that IJTSM content can be mined without barriers for the needs of research.

"Author Copyright and Publishing Agreement"


Author Copyright and Publishing Agreement will be comprised upon followings:

A. Grant of rights from coresponding author.

The Corresponding Author on the behalf all authors grants to this Journal, the following:
1. An irreversible non-exclusive right to re-produce, re-publish, diffuse, dispense, and otherwise use the work in print, electronic and linking editions/ versions of this Journal/ serial and in offshoot derivatives all over the world of scholarly communication, in all/any languages, and in all/any media which are known currently or will be developed later.
2. An irreversible non-exclusive right to assimilate digital preservations of copies of the Work/ contribution including the right to submit/ deposit/ archive the copy of the Work in open access digital/ electronic databases such as LOCKS, CLOCKS, KEEPERS, RePEc etc.
3. An irreversible non-exclusive right to license readers/ others to re-produce, re-publish, diffuse, and dispense the Work subject to condition that the Author(s) are credited/ attributed as per CC-BY 4.0 attributions.
Copyright in this Work will remain with the Author(s).

B. Duties of coresponding author.

1. When re-publishing/ disseminating or dispensing the work at the venues other than a scientific journals, the Corresponding Author on the behalf of co-author(s) agrees to attribute/ credit this Journal as the venue of first and original place of publication.
2. The Corresponding Author come to an understanding to update this Journal for any amendments in contact details of author(s).

C. Warranty from coresponding author.

1. Corresponding Author, on the behalf of the co-author(s), certifies that the Work is the Authors’ own original contribution and that it does not infringe/ violate the law(s) or the rights of any third party (ies) and, explicitly, that the Work does contain no substance that is derogatory or that have an effect on any rights pertaining to publishing in scholarly communications.
2. Corresponding Author, on the behalf of the co-author(s), also certifies that he/she has the complete authority to make and sign the publishing agreement, and the Corresponding Author come to an understanding to inform co-authors of the terms of the contract and to get the written permissions from all co-authors to sign on their behalf if the work is produced jointly. The Corresponding Author abides to not harm this journal from any breach of the aforesaid representations.

D. Duties of Journal

In deliberation of the Corresponding Author’s (on the behalf of co-author) grant of rights on the work, this Journal approves to publish/ print the Work, attributing/ crediting the Work to the Author(s).

E. Entire Agreement

This publishing agreement will be accepted by both of the parties. This publishing agreement may be modified only in writing by a postscript signed by the both the parties. "
